From curriculum to teachers, our approach to early education inspires a love of learning.
In addition to instruction based on thematic units like pre-reading and pre-math, our teachers help children develop social skills that promote self-esteem. Many different curriculums have been combined to form what we feel is best for our program and the children at C.A.S.A.
In addition to individual class curriculum, C.A.S.A. offers five special classes to expose children to new
interests and help broaden horizons:
Bible & Missions
Stories. Crafts. Games. Songs. During Bible & Missions, all children learn about the love of God and engage in hands-on mission work.
Science
Why do leaves change color? What is momentum? What is gravity? Basic concepts are explained and demonstrated in Science for our threes-K5.
Computer
Fine motor skills. Problem solving. Letters, numbers and cognitive reasoning. Threes-K5 learn how to use the computer while learning, er, having fun!
Movement
In addition to recess, all students participate in Movement, where kids play games, have relay races and use gross motor skills to run, hop, march, balance, and MOVE!
Music
Singing. Dancing. Instruments. All children are given the opportunity to express themselves in Music class and even participate in concerts throughout the year.
